After being in North Carolina for a full year, I can say that I am very impressed with the willingness of CTE Directors and other administrators throughout the state to work together for the good of all! We have visited school districts in Wake County to check out their Academic - CTE combination classes, and Granville County three different times to look at their Virtual Enterprises courses. I have also had numerous conversations and meetings with the CTE Directors from Johnston County, Vance County, Person County, and Franklin County. This is what I call a real team effort! Today, the CTE Director from Granville County visited with us to look at our Microsoft IT Academy. He visited with me, Ms. Dunderdale, the IT Academy teacher and talk with students in the class. Thanks for these Directors and the state CTE staff for all that you have done for us!
