Jen Walker is a researcher and environmental designer, focusing on food system development and the manifestation of productive landscapes. Currently, Jen is a Research Associate for a National Science Foundation project that explores the moral trajectories of the local food movement in North Carolina—Research on Food and Farming for All—based out of UNC, Chapel Hill. Jen received her BS in Horticulture at NC State University, and her Masters in Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia where she focused on the social construction of the built environment, specifically as it relates to the production and consumption of food. She lives in Durham, NC, where she collaborates regularly with Tributary, Inc, a landscape design and build firm.
