Students in Warren County complete scholarship applications during the winter and spring hoping to get financial help as they continue their education after graduation. Six students from Warren County qualified as a finalist for the Aubrey Brooks Scholarship. Local representatives from NC State, The University of North Carolina at Greensboro and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill are selected to interview the students and make a recommendation to the state committee. This year, Russell King represented NC State and Laura Richardson represented UNCG on the interview panel.
