The Earning the Green Celebration was held on January 28th at the Vance Granville Community Civic Center located on the main campus in Henderson. This event was established in 2012 to recognize the Warren Early College High School students who have earned at least 26 college transferable credits. This benchmark is traditionally reached by students in their fourth year of high school. This year, eight students were recognized for their accomplishments. Dr. Angela Ballentine, Vicep President of Academic and Student Affairs at VGCC was the featured speaker. Check out the pictures below from the event.
