South Warren Closing Information Meeting: June 6 2019

A special meeting was held at South Warren Elementary School to discuss the closing of the school. Information was provided by the school district and then the public made comments. The board plans to make a decision at a special meeting scheduled for June 7th at Warren County Middle School.

School Board Chair, Ebony Talley Brame welcomes everyone to the meeting.

Dr. Spain, the Superintendent, explains the Public Haring process. 

School Board Attorney, Al Thompson explains how the public comments portion of the meeting will work. 

Dr. Frank Polakiewicz, Assistant Superintendent for Administration talks to the group about the studies that two Engineering firms have completed concerning the school's condition. 

Michael Perry, Director of Maintenance discusses the conditions of the pipes and the number of repairs that have been made to keep the system going. 

Parents and Concerned Citizens speak during the public comments portion of the meeting
