December School Board Meeting

The Warren County Board of Education held its monthly meeting in December at Warren County Middle School. Check out highlights from the meeting.

Anna Paynter from Vaughan Elementary School was recognized for placing second in the North Carolina School Boards Association Poster Contest. 



These students were recognized for receiving honorable mention status with their artwork.



Mariam Boyd Elementary School was recognized for meeting academic growth during the 2018-19 school year.


South Warren Elementary School was recognized for meeting academic growth during the 2018-19 school year.



Vaughan Elementary School was recognized for meeting academic growth during the 2018-29 school year.



Warren New Tech High School was recognized for meeting academic growth during the 2018-19 school year.



Warren Early College was recognized for exceeding academic growth during the 2018-19 school year.










Students at each school received Light of Character Awards for the month of November. the character trait was Cooperation






Elaine Smith from Mariam Boyd Elementary was recognized as the Stellar Performer for the month of November. 





Tracy Neal, Principal at Warren County Middle School was named as the Warren County Schools Principal of the Year. 






April Williams, Social Worker for Warren County Schools, was the Central Region Nominee for Social Worker of the Year. 



Warren Early College High School and Warren New Tech High School received the Attendance Awards for the month of November.
