January School Board Meeting

The Warren County Board of Education held its January meeting at Warren County High School. The Warren County National Champion Band was recognized as well as the Lights of Character and Stellar Performer. Mariam Boyd students presented exemplary work during the meeting. January 2017 Lights of Character Recipeints

Mariam Boyd Elementary School presented how they used blended learning and digital resources in their classrooms.

Trina Paynter from Vaughan Elementary School was the January 2017 Stellar Performer 

Taylor Whitehead, Warren County Schools Band Director, was honored for his outstanding leadership and was recognized on behalf of his students for their performance at the North Carolina School Boards Association Conference. 

A presentation was given by North Carolina State University on a study completed in Warren County concerning what the community would like to see in a school Principal. 

 Dan Harris, Child Nutrition Director, presented a new program that would provide dinner for students in the after school programs in Warren County.
