Technology Innovation Meeting at UNC

Ernie Conner, Director of Technology for Warren County Schools checked out some very interesting technology tools at the UNC School of Media and Journalism. Gary Kirk, Broadcast and Emerging Media Engineer for the School provided a tour of his facility and talked about how they used the Nureva Span system in their facility. He also showed other collaborative tools that they use to promote collaboration and student engagement. A special THANK YOU to Kelly Williams from Smarter  Systems for setting up this trip. Smarter Systems has been working with Warren County to install and use the Nureva Span system. This system allows students to work on a 20 foot touch canvass on a wall in the classroom. Check out the video below the pictures to check out the Nureva system The district is also looking at a Hover Cam Pilot to be used in selected classrooms.
