Joint Meeting with Warren County Commissioners and Board of Education

Each year, the Warren County Board of Education hosts a meeting with the County Commissioners to discuss the state of the schools and allow them to ask questions concerning its operation. The general public is invited to attend and ask questions during the session. This years meeting was very well attended and informative. Check out pictures from the event.

Director of Curriculum, Chelsa Jennings, introduces the district's literacy team and talks about the great work that is being done to improve student performance in the schools.


Dr. Ryan from East Carolina University, has been working with Warren County Schools to focus on literacy. She explains her role in this process and talks about the programs being implemented in Warren County Schools. 


Victor Hunt, Chairman of the County Commissioners, thanks the Board of Education for organizing this meeting and also thanks the members of the community in attendance for their comments, questions, and input. 


Board of Education Vice Chair Lassiter stresses the importance of good communication and collaboration as we move forward to make our school district better.
