US News & World Report is a global authority in education rankings and civic journalism. The rankings evaluate more than 20,500 public high schools nationwide to identify schools that best serve all of their students, including historically underserved populations, and assess the degree to which students are prepared for college-level coursework.

The US News & World Report's ranking methodology is based on two main principles; 1) that a great high school must serve all of its students well, not just those who are college bound and 2) a great high school must be able to produce measurable academic outcomes to show it is successfully educating its student body across a range of performance indicators.

Warren Early College High School was recognized by US News and World Report. WECHS earned a bronze medal both nationally and in North Carolina.

Warren New Tech High School was ranked number 54 out of 154 high schools that earned medals in North Carolina and earned a bronze medal  nationally.
