Dr. Spain will retire at the end of the 2018-19 School Year. He has served as Superintendent for 16 years. Dr. Linda Mason, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, is working with a team to plan a special retirement celebration for him. The event will be held on June 30th at Vance Granville Community College.
