Yvonne Alston, WIA Coordinator and I attended the Kerr Tar Youth Council Meeting in Henderson yesterday. I am really happy that the WIA funding is going to be available this year. At one point, the WIA funding was not in the federal budget! This program has really helped kids in Warren County that may not have been successful otherwise. I commend Ms. Alston for all that she does for the WIA program in Warren County. She is busy writing our grant so that we will be ready to go this summer. I also want to thank Vincent Gilreath and his staff for their hard work and Debbie Smith, Chairman of the Kerr Tar Youth Council for all that she does for the cause.!
