Check out this email from Taylor Whitehead, Band Director at Warren County High School!
It is with much enthusiasm and excitement that I am able to bring back great news once again from the Warren County High School “Dynamic Marching Machine”. This weekend, we traveled to Atlanta Georgia to participate in the 2014 High Stepping National Championship. The event features a Drumline and Danceline competition on Friday night as well as a Preliminary and Final Round Band Competition on Saturday. This year’s National Championship featured bands from Texas, Virginia, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, New Jersey and South Carolina
.
On Friday night, Warren County’s “Platinum Ice” Dancers won the National Danceline Competition for the first time ever and the “Steel Stix” Drumline won the National Drumline Championship for the 8th time overall and the 6thconsecutive year. Pretty amazing right!!
